The K40 Boil Kettle with Malt Pipe is a modular stainless brewhouse foundation that runs like a real mash system — without locking you into proprietary all-in-one hardware. Built from 304 stainless, designed around tri-clamp architecture, with a proper malt pipe from day one. Start with one vessel and grow to a two- or three-vessel brewhouse: nothing here is temporary.

Malt pipe workflow

With the malt pipe installed, the K40 becomes a mash-capable vessel: load grain, recirculate, lift, drain and sparge — clean and repeatable.

• Grain capacity: ~12–16 kg (depending on malt and crush)
• Malt pipe (grain basket) volume: ~30 L
• Volume below the malt pipe: ~9.8 L

Port architecture

• Bottom drain: 1.5" TC, centred for complete drainage (dish bottom)
• Heating port: 1× 2" TC (electric heating-element ready)
• Process ports: 2× 1.5" TC (return / whirlpool / transfer)
• Thermowell port: 1× 1.5" TC
