K40 3V Brewing System – 48.1L Three-Vessel Stainless Brewhouse

Not a starter kit — compact brewhouse architecture.

The BrewTaurus K40 3V is a 48.1 L three-vessel stainless brewing system: a dedicated Hot Liquor Tank, Mash Tun and Boil Kettle, 7 kW total heating, dual-pump routing and a counterflow chiller. No shared-vessel compromises — each stage runs independently. Built for precise small-batch brewing.

• 2× 3.5 kW tri-clamp elements (7 kW total) · 2× Inkbird C236T (16A EU plug) · two independent 16A circuits
• Heat-up (35 L, 15→100°C): ≈20–30 min · rolling boil at 30–40 L, ~6–8%/h evaporation
• Recommended grain bill 8–14 kg (high-gravity ~16 kg) · mash thickness 2.6–3.2 L/kg · example 12 kg × 2.8 → ~34 L mash

Hydraulics, cooling, oxygenation & cleaning

• 2× magnetic pumps (R15) — HLT→mash transfer, recirculation, sparge, whirlpool/knockout, CIP loops
• Stainless manifold · 1.5" tri-clamp quick-connects · integrated sanitary 4-way cross
• Counterflow chiller (single-pass) for 25–40 L — single-pass to 18–22°C at 10–15°C groundwater; ~6–12 min knockout (35 L)
• Inline oxygenation via 1.5" carb stone · thermowells included · CIP-capable with optional spray head

Installation: two independent 16A circuits, stable water supply, load-bearing surface (filled system ~120–160 kg).
