HERMS coil (included)

This is where hot water becomes temperature control. The included large HERMS coil is designed for stable heat exchange at higher volumes and continuous recirculation.

Port architecture (HLT workflow)

The K80 HLT uses the same kettle platform as the K80 Boil Kettle — the difference is how it’s configured. The port layout allows clean HERMS circulation and controlled hot water transfer.

• Heating ports: 2 × 2" Tri-Clamp (element-ready)
• Bottom drain / hot water out: 1.5" Tri-Clamp for fast, complete drainage and transfer
• HERMS coil in/out: tri-clamp ports for clean HERMS loop routing
• Temperature sensing: thermowell integrated via sanitary TEE at the drain

Same K-Series logic: scale up, keep the workflow.

FAQ

Is the HERMS coil included?

Yes. The K80 HLT – CORE includes a removable large SS304 HERMS coil with 1.5" Tri-Clamp connections.

Does CORE include heating elements?

No. CORE is the stainless foundation. The heating ports are ready, but elements are not included.

Can this kettle be used in other roles?

Yes. The K-Series is modular by design.
This HLT uses the same kettle platform as the Boil Kettle — the function comes from configuration.

Do I need a pump for HERMS?

Yes. HERMS requires recirculation. CORE includes the sanitary architecture; pump choice is intentionally left open.

Is this compatible with larger K-Series systems?

Yes. The same design logic applies across the entire K-Series — from K40 to K200.
