The JoinTech IceMaster G20.2 is a compact, compressor-driven glycol chiller for serious homebrewers and small breweries. 500W of cooling and two integrated, independently controlled pumps let you hold two fermenters at different temperatures at once — powerful enough for well-insulated vessels up to ~200L, or several smaller ones. Compressor cooling is far more efficient than thermoelectric, and holds up in a warm garage or brewery.

Setup & use

Use propylene glycol at ~20–30% for freeze protection to about -8°C. Connect with matching 1/2" dry-break female fittings (13mm ID hose). The supplied push-in sight glass tubing and stabiliser bracket keep things tidy.

Protect the compressor: always cool wort below 50°C with water before switching to glycol — direct cooling from boiling can overload the unit. Leave at least 100mm ventilation clearance and clean the radiator regularly.
