Generation 2 – Improved Flow Control

The Gen 2 NUKATAP FC features a redesigned flow control mechanism with improved sealing against the shank and smoother adjustment.

The side-mounted flow lever allows precise control of pour speed, making line balancing quick and easy.

This is ideal for users frequently switching between beer styles or carbonation levels.

First Pour Foam Reduction

The NUKATAP reduces thermal mass in the tap body.

Because taps protrude from towers or fridges, they are often the warmest part of the draft system. Lower thermal mass reduces foam during the first pour while the tap cools down.

Improved Laminar Flow – The NUKASHUTTLE

The patented “NUKASHUTTLE” is the world’s first seamless shuttle design for a forward-sealing tap.

Its streamlined internal shape reduces turbulence and improves laminar flow — even highly carbonated beers pour smoothly with minimal foaming.

Most Sanitary Forward-Sealing Design

Traditional taps use seals seated against stainless surfaces, creating microscopic fissures that can trap residue.

The NUKASHUTTLE is a seamless single-piece TPV rubber matrix formed over a durable PP core. No moving floating O-rings. No hidden cavities.

Forward sealing keeps beer at the front of the tap, reducing contamination risk and improving hygiene.

Long Life Seals & Chemical Resistance

Modern draft systems increasingly dispense sour beers, kombucha, and acidic beverages.

The NUKATAP’s TPV sealing matrix is highly resistant to caustic cleaners, acids, and aggressive sanitation chemicals.

Smooth internal operation eliminates “metal-on-metal” wear and ensures consistent long-term performance.

Auto-Close Spring Compatible

The NUKATAP FC is the first forward-sealing tap compatible with an optional auto-close spring.

When fitted, the tap automatically closes when released — ideal for commercial use, shared spaces, or preventing accidental spills.

2.5° Reverse Handle Angle

The redesigned 2.5° reverse angle improves compatibility with long or heavy tap handles, ensuring stable operation in different installation setups.

Rear Sealing vs Forward Sealing

Rear-sealing taps allow liquid to drain back into the body, often leaving wet cavities exposed to airborne bacteria.

Forward-sealing taps close at the front, minimizing internal contamination and preserving beer quality.
