Grapefruit, tropical fruit and apricot, grown in Czech hop gardens rather than the Pacific Northwest. Fusion CZ is an experimental Czech aroma blend for IPAs and pale ales that want the fruit up front.

What it does in your beer

Our product data describes a very aromatic hop with a pronounced fruity profile — grapefruit, tropical fruit and apricot — made for modern styles where hop aroma is the point.

It's listed for IPA, pale ale, hazy IPA and NEIPA, and also for saison and India pale lager, so it's a way to put Czech hops into a fruit-forward recipe.

• Sealed, cold, dry and dark keeps the fruit in the pellets.
