It's a genuinely multi-purpose fitting: besides still columns, it works on any vessel with a 4" TC ferrule (including 100 L BrewZilla and Grainfather G40 lids), doubles as a heavy-duty funnel for 2" pipework, or serves as the head of a DIY carbon filter. Machined from a single piece with a clean sanitary finish, it clamps on and seals like any standard Tri-Clamp fitting.
