Turn your K80 or K220 Boil Kettle into a HERMS HLT.
Everything that separates our K80 and K220 Boil Kettles from the matching Hot Liquor Tanks: the removable HERMS coil — about 21 m of 304 stainless tube, Ø340 mm, about 254 mm tall — and the two 1.5" Tri-Clamp threaded adapters that connect its ends to the kettle. It goes on the two lower front ports, 256 mm apart on the K80 and 257 mm on the K220. Pump the mash liquor through the coil, and the hot liquor around it holds the mash on temperature — no direct heat on the grain.

FAQ
Do I need a pump?
Yes — HERMS means pumping the mash liquor through the coil. An MP-40RM pump (as in our K80 systems) does the job.
Can I still boil in the kettle?
Yes. Release the clamps, lift the coil out and it is a boil kettle again.
