Kettle and malt pipe, nothing else. Your fittings, your build.
The K80 Boil Kettle with Malt Pipe — vessel only — turns one 93.3 L stainless kettle into a single-vessel electric brewhouse: mash in the malt pipe, lift it, hang it on the rim to drain, sparge, boil. Up to ~22 kg of grain. Add your fittings, elements and a pump — or take the K80 1V system.
Vessel only — no fittings. You get the kettle with its stainless lid and the malt pipe. None of the Tri-Clamp fittings are included — no valves, clamps, gaskets or blind caps; the full list is under “Not in the box” below. Want the fittings too? The K80 Boil Kettle + Malt Pipe — Complete Set comes with all of them.

| Max grain bill | ~22 kg |
| Batch into fermenter | 45–70 L |
| Heating ports | 2× 2" TC (120 mm apart) |
| Empty weight | kettle ≈10.6 kg · malt pipe ≈6.7 kg |
| Guarantee | 2-year legal guarantee (EU consumer law) |
Malt pipe workflow
- Malt pipe (grain basket): 64 L to the rim level · laser-cut bottom plus four rows of side perforations · 1.5" TC port on the top ring · two silicone handles.
- Drain position: the pipe hangs on the kettle rim with its bottom at the 80 L line, so the wort drains back while you sparge.
- 14 L sits below the malt pipe. It is part of your strike water but sits under the grain bed — count it when you set mash thickness.
- At full grain the malt pipe weighs more than 50 kg even after draining. Hung on the rim to drain, its top sits 1256.9 mm above the floor; to lift it fully out, the pipe bottom has to clear the rim, so plan at least 1.34 m to the top of the pipe (rim + pipe height) plus room for your hands or hoist. Use a hoist or pulley and heat-resistant gloves.

FAQ
What does the complete set add?
The K80 Boil Kettle + Malt Pipe — Complete Set adds 1× 1.5" TC elbow · 3× 1.5" TC butterfly valves · 11× 1.5" band clamps + 11× gaskets · 1× 1.5" blind cap · 1× 1.5" tee · 1× 1.5" thermowell · 1× 1.5" racking / pick-up / whirlpool arm · 1× ½" NPT-male to 1.5" TC adapter · 1× 1.5" DN15 female adapter · 2× 2" TC band clamps + 2× gaskets + 2× 2" blind caps. Take the vessel only if you already have Tri-Clamp valves and fittings, or want to pick your own.
How much grain fits in the malt pipe?
About 22 kg. A 12 °P beer at 70 L needs ~15.7 kg; at maximum grain you reach ~15 °P (OG ~1.061) at 70 L.
How much liquid sits below the malt pipe?
14 L. It is part of your strike water but sits under the grain bed, so count it when you set mash thickness.
Do I need a hoist?
At full grain the malt pipe weighs more than 50 kg even after draining.
Can I add a mash tun later?
Yes. The kettle becomes the boil kettle of a K80 2V or K80 3V — nothing gets replaced.
Product photos may show a prototype or a different size; production units follow the manufacturing drawing.
Gravity figures assume 70 % brewhouse efficiency (65 % at maximum grain); your mill, malt and process will move them.
