You’re reserving stainless that’s being built for you.
What this kettle actually is
The K40 + Malt Pipe is a modular stainless boil kettle setup that can run like a real mash system — without locking you into proprietary AIO hardware.
You start with stainless.
You decide how far it goes.
One vessel.
Two-vessel.
Three-vessel brewhouse.
Nothing here is temporary.
This is for you if
- You’ve outgrown all-in-one systems
- You want a real malt pipe workflow instead of bag hacks
- You plan to upgrade, not replace
- You care how things are built — not just how they look
If you’re looking for shortcuts, this isn’t it.
Stainless-first brewing
No plastic paths.
No hidden electronics.
No dead ends.
Just stainless steel, sanitary connections, and a system that scales with you.
Why K-Series
Architecture scales. Your workflow doesn’t change.
- Full tri-clamp architecture across all K-Series sizes
- Dish bottom with central bottom drain for complete drainage
- Port layout designed for real brewing workflows
- Identical logic whether you brew 40 L or 200 L
Every port has a job. No decoration.
Malt Pipe workflow
With the Malt Pipe installed, the K40 becomes a proper mash-capable vessel: load grain, recirculate, lift, drain, sparge — clean and repeatable.
- Grain capacity: approx. 12–16 kg, depending on malt type and crush
- Malt pipe volume: approx. 30 L (grain basket volume)
- Below malt pipe bottom: approx. 9.8 L (space under the basket)
- Tri-clamp consistency: ports are designed around sanitary TC workflow (one port is 2" TC, the rest are 1.5" TC)
The point is simple: you get a real mash workflow now — and you keep full modular upgrade freedom later.
Port architecture (overview)
The K40 is designed around a clean, functional port layout. Every port has a job — no decoration.
- Bottom drain: 1.5" Tri-Clamp, centered for complete drainage
- Heating port: 1 × 2" Tri-Clamp (electric heating element ready)
- Process ports: 2 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp (return / whirlpool / transfer)
- Thermowell port: 1 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp
The same logic is used across the entire K-Series, so your workflow stays consistent as your system grows.

FAQ
Can I run this as a single-vessel mash + boil system?
Yes.
That’s exactly what the Malt Pipe is for — a clean, repeatable mash workflow inside a real stainless vessel.
Why doesn’t it include a controller or pump?
Because those are decisions you shouldn’t be locked into.
You’re buying stainless architecture first — then you build the control stack that fits your process.
Can I add heating elements later?
Yes.
The kettle is designed for standard tri-clamp heating elements and modular upgrades.
This is not an upgrade.
It’s a graduation.
