Real brewery equipment — scaled to 40 L.
Jacketed stainless fermentation tank with full Tri-Clamp ports, 2" dump, pressure capability and 6" top access.
The BrewTaurus PF40 Unitank is built like brewery hardware, not like a consumer appliance.
Everything is modular. Everything is serviceable. Every port has a job.
This is the fermenter you build your cellar around.
PRE-ORDER
This product is made to order.
We collect pre-orders continuously and place them into production once per month. This keeps quality high, avoids shortcuts, and ensures every unit is built properly.

Production batch closes monthly.
Estimated delivery: end of April 2026
You’re not buying stock.
You’re reserving stainless that’s being built for you.
What this unitank actually is
The PF40 is a jacketed, pressure-capable unitank for fermentation, dumping yeast, sampling, and temperature control with a glycol loop.
No gimmicks.
No proprietary ecosystem.
Just ports that make sense.
This is for you if
- You want jacketed temperature control (glycol-ready)
- You want to dump yeast and trub through a real 2" dump
- You want sanitary Tri-Clamp connections everywhere
- You want pressure capability for modern fermentation workflows
If you’re looking for “cheap and fine”, this isn’t it.
Pressure rating
- Working pressure: 1 bar
- Max pressure: 2 bar
Jacketed cooling
PF40 uses a cylindrical cooling jacket designed for stable, controllable fermentation temps.
- Jacket type: cylindrical jacket
- Jacket connections: 2 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp (rear right side)
- Coil: not used (this is jacketed cooling)
Port architecture
Every port has a job. No decoration.
- Top access: 6" Tri-Clamp
- Top ports: 2 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp
- Cone ports: 3 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp
- Jacket ports: 2 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp
- Dump / bottom port: 1 × 2" Tri-Clamp (yeast/trub dump)
- Heating port: 1 × 2" Tri-Clamp (port present; heating element not included in CORE)
Dump-ready from day one
The PF40 is built for real yeast management: dump, sample, clean, repeat.
- Dump port size: 2" Tri-Clamp
- Installed on the dump: 2" elbow + 2" butterfly valve
Stand & stability
Stable, and designed around real accessories — not improvised add-ons.
- Legs: 4 legs available to adjust
- Bracing: legs connected with a bracing shelf
- Front configuration: ready to install a 2" sight glass with cover

No fillers. No placeholders.
You get the unitank foundation — and you choose your cooling/control stack.
What we intentionally don’t include
- Glycol chiller
- Pump
- Hoses / quick-connects
- Heating element
- Controller
- 2" sight glass with cover (tank is fitment-ready; accessory not included)
- Spunding valve
CORE gives you the stainless platform and Tri-Clamp architecture.

FAQ
Is this glycol-ready?
Yes. PF40 is jacketed and uses 2 × 1.5" Tri-Clamp jacket connections (rear right side).
What pressure can it handle?
Working pressure: 1 bar.
Max pressure: 2 bar.
Does CORE include a chiller, spunding valve, or controller?
No. CORE is the stainless foundation + included hardware. Cooling/control hardware is intentionally left open.
Does CORE include a heating element?
No. A 2" heating port is present, but the element is not included in CORE.
Is the dump port already set up?
Yes. The 2" dump port comes equipped with a 2" elbow and 2" butterfly valve.
Why jacketed cooling instead of a coil?
Because it’s stable and scalable. A cylindrical jacket gives you consistent heat exchange and clean temperature control with a glycol loop without anything else coming into contact with the beer.
Can I upgrade or reconfigure later?
Yes. That’s the point.
PF40 uses Tri-Clamp architecture so you can add your preferred fittings, automation, sampling, transfer, and cooling hardware without being locked into one ecosystem.
This is not just a fermenter.
This is a unitank.
