Brew indoors. No steam. No extractor hood.
The BrewTaurus 2" Steam Condenser Kit turns any 2" Tri-Clamp lid port into a full steam condensing system. A fine cold-water spray from the condenser nozzle knocks down the boil steam inside the column, and the condensate drains away through the drain barb — so you can boil in the basement, garage or kitchen all winter without a cloud of steam or an extractor hood.
What's included:
- 1× 2" Tri-Clamp Condenser nozzle – 3/8" push-fit water inlet
- 2× 2" Tri-Clamp Tee
- 2× 2" Tri-Clamp I piece 20 cm (condenser columns)
- 1× 2" Tri-Clamp Elbow 90°
- 1× 2" Tri-Clamp 12.7 mm hose barb (condensate drain)
- 7× 2" Band clamp
- 7× 2" TC Gasket
Bought separately, these stainless components add up to well over €260 — the kit saves you more than €80.
Complete the installation: add the Steam Condenser Connection Kit — 2 m silicone drain hose, 2 m EVABarrier water line and the duotight 3/8" joiner. Everything between your tap, the condenser and the drain, for €29.95.
Which systems does it fit?
- Direct fit (2" TC port): Sight Glass Lid Ø350 mm (B40L & systems with a Ø340–355 mm opening), Dome Lid Ø350 mm (K40 / K40L) — and any system with a 2" TC steam port on the lid.
- With a 4"→2" reducer: Sight Glass Lid Ø400 mm (B70L / B80L PRO), Dome Lid Ø450 mm (K80 / K80L) and Dome Lid Ø600 mm (K220) — and 4" TC distilling lids of other brands.
One practical note from real brew days: a condenser works best when you can throttle your element — all BrewTaurus systems have stepless power control, so the boil stays rolling with the lid on.
