Clean your fermenter the easy way. Everything in one box.
Clean-in-place, sorted. The BrewTaurus CIP Kit gives you every part you need to clean and sanitize a stainless fermenter without taking it apart: a powerful pump, a rotating spray head, hoses and all the tri-clamp fittings. Hook it up, let it spin, and spend less time scrubbing and more time brewing.
What's in the box
- 1× 65W High-Temperature Magnetic Pump (MP-40RM)
- 1× 1.5" Rotating CIP Spray Head
- 2× 2 m silicone hose (10 × 15 mm)
- 2× 1.5" Tri-clamp DN15 (½") female
- 4× 1.5" TC ½" quick-connect fitting
- 4× 1.5" Tri-clamp gasket
- 4× 1.5" Band clamp
- 4× ½" female quick disconnect (bar OD 13.1)
Why a CIP kit?
- Clean the whole tank without opening it up
- Rotating jets cover walls, dome, welds and cone
- The 65W pump has the muscle to actually spin the head (a light transfer pump won't)
- Reuse your cleaning solution across multiple vessels
- Repeatable, hands-off results — batch after batch
How to CIP — step by step
Clean
- Release the pressure and open the tank safely.
- Dump the gunk — drain the yeast, trub and hop sludge.
- First rinse with cold or warm water to flush most of the residue off the walls.
- Fit the CIP head — return the lid, mount the spray head, connect fittings and hose.
- Mix the cleaner — 5 L of water at 50–70 °C + 10 g/L Chemipro Wash (or PBW).
- Connect the pump and recirculate through the spray head.
- Let it spin ~25 minutes. The rotating jets do the scrubbing for you.
- Save the wash — reuse it to clean accessories while it's hot.
- Quick rinse with clean water.
Sanitize
- Fresh water — 5 L at ~25 °C.
- Add sanitizer — 3–5 ml/L Chemipro CIP / SAN.
- Let it spin 5 minutes.
- Drain the sanitizing solution.
- Reassemble — seat the lid clamp with a rubber mallet; a blow-off barb makes thread tightening easier.
- Light pressure to push out any sanitizer remains. Brew-ready.
Pro tips
Keep the wash hot — cleaning power drops fast as it cools. Sanitize as a separate step, right before you fill. Mounting on a 2" port? Add a 2"→1.5" reducing cone.
Safety first. Always release pressure before opening. Wear gloves and eye protection with cleaners/sanitizers. Dispose of chemicals per local guidelines.

What you'll add
The kit has the hardware. You just supply: a cleaner (Chemipro Wash or PBW), a sanitizer (Chemipro CIP/SAN), and a stainless fermenter with a CIP port.
FAQ
Will the pump spin the spray head?
Yes — that's why the kit ships with the 65W pump. A light transfer pump (like the 15R) doesn't have the flow and pressure to drive a spray head.
What cleaner and ratios?
Cleaning: 10 g/L Chemipro Wash or PBW in 50–70 °C water, ~25 min. Sanitizing: 3–5 ml/L Chemipro CIP/SAN in ~25 °C water, ~5 min.
Does it fit my fermenter?
Connections are 1.5" tri-clamp. If your CIP port is 2", add a 2"→1.5" reducer.
