Rules for competitions on Facebook and Instagram

During the month of May, Brew Taurus will host four quiz rounds on Instagram as part of our ongoing competition. Participation is open to anyone who wishes to join by commenting on the designated contest post. To enter, simply respond to the quiz question by commenting with one of the selected answers: A), B), or C), and tag another user in your comment.

Participants may enter multiple times in each quiz round, provided that they tag a different friend in each new entry. Both the participant and the tagged friends must follow the official Brew Taurus Instagram profile to be eligible for the competition.

All valid entries will be included in a random drawing for each round. The first selected contestant who has provided the correct answer will win two vouchers, each worth EUR 25. These vouchers can be used exclusively for purchases at our online store, Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with other vouchers or with each other in a single purchase. Each voucher is valid for three calendar months.

By participating in this competition, you agree to these rules and ensure that your entries comply with Instagram's guidelines. Please note that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.

I. General Provisions

  1. Any participant who accepts the rules of the contest, meets these conditions and sends a reply to the organizer's post via a comment on Facebook or Instagram (depending on which of these platforms the contest is held on) becomes a participant in the contest. The exact definition of comment, participant, duration of the contest is described in the Contest Mechanism.
  2. The organiser of the contest is the company, BrewTaurus s.r.o.,, ID No.: 09676872, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert No. 340303/MSPH Městský soud v Praze  (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").
  3. Employees of the organiser and persons close to them are excluded from participation in the competition.
  4. The Organiser is not obliged to keep the participants' questions and is not obliged to answer them.
  5. The organiser reserves the right to shorten, interrupt or cancel the competition or change the rules.
  6. The Competition Organiser reserves the right to make final decisions in disputed cases at its sole discretion.
  7. By entering the competition, all participants agree to abide by the rules of the competition.
  8. The organiser reserves the right to delete comments that are offensive or otherwise inappropriate (i.e. not related to the topic of the contest), unsolicited advertising and possibly block their authors.
  9. The Contests are in no way administered, sponsored by, or associated with Facebook and Facebook is not responsible for the operation of the Contests. Information provided in the Contests will not be disclosed to Facebook in any way. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contests must be directed to the organizer, not Facebook.

II. Personality rights and data protection

  1. By entering a comment in response to a competition question, the participant gives the organiser his/her express consent to the organiser processing the personal data provided by the participant (name, surname, Facebook profile name and, where applicable, delivery address and e-mail) in its marketing database and in the databases of all processors of this database for the purpose of offering business and services.
  2. The organiser of the competition hereby informs each participant who has provided his/her personal data for processing in the competition according to the preceding paragraph of his/her rights under Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), i.e. in particular that the provision of such data is voluntary, that the participant has the right to access it and that he/she has the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection in the event of a breach of the Act with a request for redress, as well as other rights arising from § 11 and 21 of the Act. Consent to data processing may be withdrawn at any time under the terms of the law at the address of the organiser's registered office.

III. Competition mechanism

Place and time of the competition

The competition runs from the date of publication of the competition entry up to and including the date stated in the entry. The contest entry is marked with the hashtag #brewtaurusquiz. 

Contestants ("Contestants")

Only a natural person over 15 years of age, or a person under 15 years of age who will be represented by a legal guardian in the event of winning, may be a Contestant.

The Contestant must be a Facebook or Instagram user and have an active account for the duration of the Contest. This account must comply with all the rules for using Facebook as set out here: and and If a Contestant's Facebook or Instagram account goes dormant or becomes inactive (including being blocked) for any reason, the Contestant may be disqualified from the Contest and forfeit any prize.

The Contestant must use their own Facebook or Instagram account in the Contest, participation in the Contest through another person is excluded. 

Only contestants who meet the stated contest conditions will be entered into the contest.

Participation in the competition is voluntary.

IV. Evaluation of the competition

After the expiration of each Contest, the Organizer will evaluate the comments under the Contest post on Facebook or Instagram and will randomly select only those that contain correct answers (in the case of a guessing contest where only one answer is correct) or those that it chooses at its discretion (for contests where the Contestant writes his/her personal experience or otherwise requested text in the comment). 

The organizer will always publish the winner who has fulfilled all the conditions of the contest under the contest entry no later than 5 (five) working days after the end of the contest. The selection of the winning comments will be made completely randomly. The organizer will tag the winner under the competition entry (using a Facebook or Instagram tag), to which the contestant agrees by participating.

The competition organiser has the sole right to assess the compliance of the contestants with the stated conditions of the competition and is entitled to exclude the contestant with immediate effect if it suspects that the contestant has achieved the result of the competition by fraudulent behaviour that is contrary to good morals and is capable of influencing the results of the competition. This decision of the Organiser is final and cannot be appealed. 

V. Prizes and their delivery

  1. The Winner will provide his/her delivery address to the Promoter in a Direct Message.
  2. The prizes will then be sent by post (email) to the postal address (email) provided by the winner. 
  3. Prizes are not judicially enforceable. Prizes are always stated net of any withholding tax.

VI. Publication of the Rules

These Competition Binding Rules will be published on this website for the duration of the Competition. A link will lead to this page from the contest Facebook or Instagram post.
