Condense the boil-off inside the building instead of cutting a chimney through the roof.
Replaces the Ø102 mm stack on the kettle/whirlpool with a condensing pipe: cold water sprays into the vapour, the condensate runs to the floor drain. Standard on the BH2 series; an option on the three-vessel BH series.
When to choose it
- Rented premises or a listed building where a roof penetration is not possible
- Basement or ground-floor brewhouses far from an outer wall
- Needs a cold-water supply and a drain next to the kettle
Specification
- Cooling water approx. 1 L/min during the boil, about 50–60 L per hour (depends on boil intensity and water temperature)
- Water connection 2" tri-clamp with 25 mm (1") hose barb
Ordering
- Factory-fitted option — ordered together with the BH-series brewhouse, built into it during production
- Cannot be retrofitted by us after delivery
- Lead time: same as the vessel it is fitted to
