Three vessels, one skid, 150 litres per brew.
The BrewTaurus PRO BH-150 is a 150 L three-vessel electric brewhouse: a dedicated hot liquor tank, a mash/lauter tun and a kettle/whirlpool with sanitary wort pump, plate heat exchanger and PID control cabinet — piped, wired and pressure-tested as one system. Roll it in, connect power, water and drain, and brew.
System architecture
- Dedicated hot liquor tank (HLT) — strike and sparge water heated in parallel with the mash
- Mash/lauter tun (MLT) with wedge-wire false bottom, rotating sparge arm and 330 × 230 mm spent-grain side door
- Kettle/whirlpool (KW) with electric heating, tangential whirlpool inlet and Ø102 mm steam chimney
- In-line layout — all three vessels in one row for narrow rooms
- Full Ø32/Ø38 tri-clamp process routing · butterfly valves · lockable castors
Process vessels
- HLT — electric heating elements · hot water outlet to MLT and sparge arm · water return line · temperature probe
- MLT — wedge-wire false bottom · rotating sparge arm · wort backflow (vorlauf) line · sight glass · side door · temperature probe
- KW — electric heating elements · whirlpool inlet · wort inlet and outlet · sight glass · chimney · temperature probe
Hydraulics, control & cleaning
- Sanitary wort pump — transfers, vorlauf recirculation, sparge, whirlpool and knockout
- SUS304 plate heat exchanger with wort-in / cold-water connections — wort to pitching temperature in one pass
- PID control cabinet — per-vessel temperature set points, heating and pump control
- CIP-capable: hot water from the HLT, tri-clamp loop, all vessels with sight glass and drain
Why a dedicated hot liquor tank
Two-vessel systems heat sparge water in the kettle, so every brew day waits on it. With a separate HLT you mash, sparge and boil in overlapping steps, clean with hot water while the kettle is still running, and turn two brews in a day. Recipes scale directly across the 150–400 L range.
Installation: professional equipment, not plug-and-play. 400 V / 50 Hz three-phase supply sized to the heating elements (confirmed at order), cold water for the heat exchanger, floor drain, load-bearing floor and a route with doorways of at least 900 mm clear width. Positioning and hook-up on site by you or your electrician; commissioning guided live by our Prague team on a video call.
